Corrections

In our article published in DAN, vol. 117, no. 3, 1957 (A. N. Nesmeyanov, L. A. Kazitsyna, B. V. Lokshin, and I. I. Kritskaya, “Determination of the position of substituents in ferrocene compounds from infrared absorption spectra”), the following errors were noted:

1. On p. 434, in Table 1, compound 24 should have the formula

\mathrm{Fe}\text{-ferrocene fragment}\;-\;\mathrm{CH_2{-}CH_2{-}CH_2{-}CO}
]

instead of

[
\mathrm{Fe}\text{-ferrocene fragment}\;-\;\mathrm{CO{-}CH_2{-}CH_2{-}CO}
]

1. On p. 435, line 34, “diethylferrocene” should be written instead of “ethylferrocene.”

2. On p. 434, in Table 1, for compound 28, the position of the substituent

[
-\underset{\mathrm{OH}}{\mathrm{CH}}\,[\mathrm{C_6H_4N(CH_3)_2}]
]

should be regarded as uncertain. It probably occupies the “meta” position with respect to the first one.
