In the article by V. N. Svechnikov and A. Ts. Spektor, “The iron–zirconium phase diagram,” published in DAN, vol. 143, no. 3, 1962, on p. 613, line 2, instead of “in the region 0.16% Zr,” read: “in the region 0–16% Zr.”

In my article (S. N. Gorodenskii, “A new method for calculating magnetic interference”), published in DAN, vol. 144, no. 1, 1962, an inaccuracy has crept into the printed text.

Under the stipulated conditions, the approximate version of formula (18) should have the form

\[ W_a \approx j \frac{1}{3}\frac{Rd}{z_0^2}. \]

The terms \(\left(\frac{d}{R}\right)^2\) under the radicals in formulas (20) vanish, and the factors \(e^{-j \operatorname{arc\,tg} R^2/z_0^2}\) in (20) and (21) turn into \((-j)\). The moduli in (21) remain practically unchanged.
