CORRECTIONS

In the article by G. A. Efendiev and I. V. Ivanova, “Phase transformations in thin Ni—Se layers,” published in DAN, vol. 143, no. 1, 1962,

In my article (L. S. Rakovshchik, “Some propositions on the regularization of linear operators in Banach spaces”), published in DAN, vol. 140, no. 5, 1961, inaccuracies were admitted in the formulations of Theorems 3 and 4. The formulations of these theorems should be as follows:

Theorem 3. In order that a closed operator \(A\) admit a regularization, it is necessary and sufficient that \(\dim Z_A < \infty\).

Theorem 4. If \(\dim Z_A < \infty\), then the equation \(A\varphi = f\), in the case of solvability, is equivalent to some Riesz—Schauder equation.
