ERRATUM

In my article (V. A. Prokof’ev, “Equations of relativistic radiation hydrodynamics”), published in DAN, vol. 140, no. 5, 1961, when the formulas in part of the equations were retyped, the notation was changed, as a result of which in some of them \(p\) is taken to mean the residual rest mass, while in three equations the quantity \(p'=\rho\theta\).

The following corrections must be made:

1. In the last equations of each of systems (12), (13), and (14), instead of \(\rho\) one should write \(\rho\theta\), or else, without changing the remaining terms:

a) in the third equation of system (12), two terms should be added to the left-hand side:

\[ + \frac{\rho\theta^{2}}{c^{2}} v_{\alpha}\frac{dv_{\alpha}}{dt} + \frac{v^{2}}{c^{2}}\frac{\partial \rho}{\partial t}; \]

b) in the last square bracket of the last equation of system (13), the terms

\[ \frac{\rho}{2}\frac{dU}{dt} - \frac{\rho}{v^{2}} v_{\alpha}\frac{dv_{\alpha}}{dt}; \]

should be omitted;

c) in the last square bracket of the last equation of system (14), the terms

\[ \frac{\rho}{2}\frac{dU}{dt} - \frac{\rho}{v^{2}} \mathbf{v}\frac{d\mathbf{v}}{dt} . \]

should be omitted.

1. In the first equation of system (14), the minus sign before the operator \(2\rho\,\dfrac{d}{dt}\) should be replaced by a plus sign.
