In my article (G. S. Shteinberg, “The mechanism of generation of volcanic tremors and long-range prediction of eruptions”), published in DAN, vol. 165, no. 6, 1965, p. 1297, line 6, one should read: Oscillations with such a period correspond to eigen-oscillations in a channel 60–80 km long.
In the article (G. S. Shteinberg, “The structure of the Earth’s crust of Southern Kamchatka and the structural-tectonic position of Quaternary volcanoes”), published in DAN, vol. 166, no. 2, 1966, p. 443, line 24 from the bottom, one should read:
- The local distribution of volcanoes (within the volcanic group) is controlled by comparatively shallow-seated disturbances that cut through deep faults.
