Correction

In my article (A. I. Smirnov, “Oscillations of an Unbounded Layered Plate in a Gas Flow”), published in DAN, vol. 172, no. 4, 1967, the following corrections must be made.

On p. 803, formulas (3.13) should read

\[ \xi=-\frac{2(x+1)\sqrt{(1-\mathrm{M}^{2}x^{2})^{3}}}{2-\mathrm{M}^{2}x^{2}}, \qquad \eta=\frac{2+\mathrm{M}^{2}x^{2}(x-1)}{2-\mathrm{M}^{2}x^{2}}(x+1). \tag{3.13} \]

On p. 804, formula (3.15) should read

\[ \Delta = 2-\mathrm{M}^{2}x^{2}>0. \tag{3.15} \]

In my article (P. G. Aizengendler, “Application of Newton Diagrams to the Problem of Stability of Periodic Solutions”), published in DAN, vol. 179, no. 5, 1968, the following correction must be made. On p. 1018, line 11 from the bottom, the word “negative” was printed incorrectly; it should read “positive”; on the same page, line 14, \(s>1\) was printed, but it should be \(s>2\).
