CORRECTIONS

In the article by M. M. Vainberg, “On the unconditional extremum of functionals and on the convergence of minimizing sequences,” published in Doklady AN, vol. 183, no. 6, 1968, the following correction must be made: on p. 1245, line 22, where it is printed
$D^{2}f(x; h, h) \leq \gamma(|x|)|h|^{2}$,
it should read
$D^{2}f(x; h, h) \geq \gamma(|x|)|h|^{2}$.

In my article (V. E. Voskresenskii, “On the birational equivalence of linear algebraic groups”), published in Doklady AN, vol. 188, no. 5, 1969, on p. 979, line 4 from the top, instead of $H^{1}(k, G)$ one should read $H^{1}(k, \hat{G})$; on p. 980, line 4 from the bottom, instead of $\prod_{p} H^{1}(k_{p}, \pi)$ one should read $\prod_{p \in S} H^{1}(k_{p}, \pi)$, $[S] < \infty$.
