Erratum

In the article by S. A. Mashkov, “A numerical method for the analysis of plane mechanisms,” published in DAN, vol. 188, no. 6, 1969, the following corrections must be made:

P. 1251, line 22: printed “from formulas (4)”; should read “from formulas (3).”

P. 1252, formula (14): printed

\[ \frac{\omega_2^2}{\varepsilon_2^2+\varepsilon_2^4}, \]

should read

\[ \frac{\omega_2^2}{\varepsilon_2^2+\omega_2^4}. \]

P. 1252, formula (15): printed \(\rho_D=|V_D|^3/V_D\times a_D\); should read

\[ \rho_D=\frac{|V_D|^3}{V_D\times a_D}. \]

In my article (N. P. Korneichuk, “Upper bounds of best approximations on classes of differentiable periodic functions in the metrics \(C\) and \(L\)”), published in DAN, vol. 190, no. 2, 1970, the end of the wording of Theorem 3 (p. 271, lines 16 and 17 from above) should read as follows: “… at all points of the interval \((0,\pi/n)\) at which \(\Phi'(g,x)\) exists (in the case \(g\in W^2H_M^n\)—under the additional condition \(\Phi(g,x)\ge \Phi_{n3}(x)\)).”

On p. 271, line 18, printed: “Theorem 2 permits...”; should be: “Theorem 3 permits...”
